Night is a recurring weather cycle in Grow a Garden that transforms the world into a calm, moonlit environment. When night falls, the sky turns a deep purple hue, stars become visible, and a bright moon shines above the garden. This peaceful setting not only changes the lighting but also influences crop mutations through lunar energy.
Appearance
During the Night cycle, the skybox darkens to a purple shade, and the moon and stars appear in the background. The background music features “Clair de Lune” and “Gymnopédie No. 1” by Erik Satie, creating a relaxing and atmospheric tone.
Mechanics
- Mutation Chance: Crops have a chance to receive the Moonlit Mutation during the night.
- Moonlit Activation: A total of six crops become Moonlit each night, occurring once every 40 seconds over a 4-minute period.
- Using a Night Staff increases the number of Moonlit crops based on the charges it holds.
- Night begins 30 minutes after every cosmetic restock, appearing six times daily at 00:30, 04:30, 08:30, 12:30, 16:30, and 20:30 GMT. Each cycle lasts 10 minutes.
- During the Lunar Glow Event, the Twilight Shop appeared exclusively at night, offering special event items.
