Overview
Blood Moon is a rare and eerie weather event in Grow a Garden that transforms the night sky into a dark red glow. Both the moon and the sky take on a crimson hue, creating an intense and mysterious atmosphere. Similar to Night, this event enhances certain crop effects, but with a much darker and more powerful twist.
Appearance
During the Blood Moon cycle, the skybox and moon both turn red, casting a dramatic light across the garden.
Mechanics
- Mutation Chance: Crops have a chance to gain the Bloodlit Mutation during the Blood Moon.
- Cycle Pattern: By default, six crops become Bloodlit in one cycle, occurring once every 40 seconds over a 4-minute span.
- Using a Night Staff increases the total number of Bloodlit crops based on its charge count.
- Has a 1 in 3 chance to occur instead of a regular Night cycle.
- The Blood Moon lasts for 10 minutes, though during the Lunar Glow Event, it was extended to 15 minutes.
- During the Lunar Glow Event, the Blood Moon Shop appeared exclusively during Blood Night, allowing players to purchase event-related items.
