Overview
The T-Rex is a Divine pet introduced during the Prehistoric Event. It was obtainable exclusively from the Dinosaur Egg with a 0.5% hatch chance, making it one of the rarest pets in the event. Known as the Apex Predator, the T-Rex has a powerful ability to consume and redistribute mutations throughout the player’s garden.
Appearance
The T-Rex has a light-green body with a pale brown underbelly. It towers over the player in size and uses a unique holding animation, where the player holds it with both arms. This special animation is also shared with pets from the Dinosaur Egg, Primal Egg, and Zen Egg.
Traits
- Apex Predator: Every ~20 minutes, the T-Rex devours a random mutation from a fruit in the player’s garden, then roars and applies that mutation to around 3–4 nearby fruits. The ability skips favorited fruits, ensuring protected plants remain untouched. Variants like Gold and Rainbow cannot be spread through this trait.
How to Obtain
- The T-Rex was available only during the Prehistoric Event, hatched from the Dinosaur Egg. It cannot be obtained through normal gameplay anymore.

- The T-Rex cannot be used in the DNA Machine, similar to other pets from the Dinosaur Egg.
- Occasionally applies the devoured mutation multiple times (2–5) to the same fruit.
- May consume a mutation without spreading it if all fruits already possess that mutation.
- When only favorited fruits are present, the T-Rex overrides its restriction and may devour them uncontrollably.
- Its massive size and unique roar animation make it one of the most visually distinct pets in the event.
