Overview
The Seedling is a limited Legendary pet introduced during the Beanstalk Event in Grow a Garden (Roblox). This unique plant-based pet is known for its mutation-swapping ability, making it a valuable companion for players who focus on mutation-based crop strategies.
Appearance
The Seedling resembles a small, sentient seed with tiny limbs, a smiling face, and a sprout with three green leaves growing from the top of its body. A small yellow flower, similar to a Daffodil, blooms next to the sprout, adding a touch of charm to its design. Its overall look emphasizes its connection to plant life and growth.
Traits
- Mutation Shuffle: Every 10 minutes, the Seedling swaps mutations between two random fruits. Ignores favorited fruits to protect player-selected crops. Cannot swap variants such as Silver, Gold, or Rainbow, nor affect fruits without mutations.
How to Obtain
- The Seedling could be hatched from the Sprout Egg with a 12% chance during the Beanstalk Event. It is currently unobtainable.

- The Seedling’s ability is hardcoded to always have a 5-minute cooldown, regardless of boosts, size, or age.
- This makes it one of the few pets with a fixed cooldown, alongside:
- Triceratops (3:33m)
- Lemon Lion (5:00m)
- Bald Eagle (7:00m)
- The cooldown was increased from 5 minutes to 10 minutes as of version v1883 to reduce lag and prevent rapid mutation swapping.
