Overview
The Scarlet Macaw is a Legendary pet introduced in the Summer Update. Players can hatch it from a Paradise Egg with an 8% chance. This colorful bird combines a striking appearance with a passive ability that benefits nearby crops.
Appearance
The Scarlet Macaw shares similar proportions and build with the Toucan but has a distinct color scheme:
Body & crest: Red
Wings: Red base, yellow middle stripe, blue wing tips
Beak: Grey
Eyes: Black
Feet: Yellow
Eye patch: Large white area around the eyes, shaped vaguely like a heart
Its shape is identical to the Hyacinth Macaw, but the colors are different, making it visually unique.
Traits
- Verdant Bird: Every ~8 minutes, there is a 16% chance to mutate a nearby fruit, applying the Verdant mutation. When activating this ability, the Scarlet Macaw is surrounded by a rainbow aura with feathers. If no nearby fruits are present, the ability is skipped and the cooldown resets.

- The Scarlet Macaw has a variant called Hyacinth Macaw, which applies the Cloudtouched mutation instead of Verdant.
- In the updated Pet Menu, the Scarlet Macaw shows two cooldowns: one (~8 seconds) indicates when the pet starts/stops flying, and the other is for its normal ability.
