Overview
The Praying Mantis is a Mythical pet introduced in the Animal Update. It can be obtained by hatching a Bug Egg with a 4% chance. Known for its meditative power, this pet increases the chance of rare crop variants such as Gold, Silver, and Rainbow types. It has a high 55,000 hunger capacity.
Appearance
This insect pet features four short green legs and two large foreclaws in bright neon green. Its head sports two square black eyes, a dark mouth, and glowing antenna tips — giving it a mystical yet serene appearance.
Traits
- Zen Zone: Every ~80 seconds, the Praying Mantis enters a meditative state for ~10 seconds, granting a 1.5× boost to variant chances (Gold, Silver, or Rainbow) within a 10-stud radius. This makes it an excellent companion for mutation and variant farming.
