Overview
The Elder Bean is an NPC introduced during the Beanstalk Event. Known for its mysterious presence, the Elder Bean plays a unique role tied to the lore surrounding the Admin Abuse War that took place on August 23rd.
Appearance
The Elder Bean wears the “Medieval Hood of Mystery” hat from Roblox and has a light green skin tone with a darker green torso. It also has the :3 face, stands on a small 1-stud platform, and remains completely still with no animation, adding to its eerie, mystical vibe.

- The phrase “good boy Sammy” is a reference to SpyderSammy, creator of the Roblox game Steal a Brainrot.
- Developer Jandel confirmed that starting a war with him is part of the riot storyline.
- “Sammy” does not refer to Sam from the Seed Shop.
- The “good boy” phrase comes from a running joke among Steal a Brainrot players directed at SpyderSammy during admin abuse events.
- Equipping the Bean Cultist avatar without owning the Silly Fun face temporarily grants it for free, but it reverts to the normal Smile face upon rejoining.
- The Silly Fun face is free on the Roblox Marketplace.
- The Elder Bean is the first NPC in Grow a Garden capable of altering the player’s avatar appearance.
- Players were once able to move the Elder Bean using Artichoke scooters.
