Overview
The Trading Ticket is an uncommon gear introduced shortly before the Cooking Update. It allows players to safely exchange items, pets, and currencies with others in the same server, making it one of the most social tools in Grow a Garden.
Appearance
The Trading Ticket is designed like a game pass card, featuring a purple background with a black rectangular center and a golden-yellow star at its core — symbolizing safe and verified trades between players.
Usage
- To initiate a trade, players must equip and hold the Trading Ticket. Once activated, they can exchange:
- Pets
- Fruits
- Sheckles
- When a trade begins, a detailed trade window displays each item’s information — including weight, age, mutations, cost, name, and image.
- The process requires two confirmations for security:
- Click “Accept” to start the 5-second timer.
- After the timer ends, click “Confirm” to finalize the trade.
- If either player removes an item, the timer resets automatically to prevent quick-switch scams.
How to Obtain
- Players can purchase the Trading Ticket from the Gear Shop for 100,000 Sheckles or 19 Robux.
- Unlike some rotating items, this gear is always available for purchase whenever players visit the shop.
Trading Ticket Trivia
- New accounts must wait 7 days before they can trade.
- The rarity of the Trading Ticket was changed from Common to Uncommon shortly after release.
- Ignored or rejected trade requests don’t consume the Trading Ticket.
- Originally, the Ticket appeared in limited stock rotations, but it’s now permanently available.
- Trading sheckles once had a 10% tax, temporarily added after an in-game inflation issue (August 2025). This tax was later fully removed.
