Overview
The Reclaimer is an uncommon garden gear designed to let players recover planted crops and trees by converting them back into seeds. It’s a handy single-use tool that helps manage your garden more efficiently without wasting rare seeds.
Appearance
The Reclaimer resembles a sleek pair of garden shears with lime-green handles, a dark green pivot, and yellow blades. Its color palette and design give it a bright, nature-inspired appearance that fits perfectly with the game’s theme.
Usage
- When used, the Reclaimer instantly turns a planted crop or tree back into its seed.
- Each tool can only be used one time.
- It doesn’t affect single-harvest plants or other players’ gardens.
- Starting with version v1711, it also works on Super Seeds — if you reclaim a Rainbow Apple Tree, you’ll receive a Rainbow Apple Seed of the same type.
How to Obtain
- Players can craft the Reclaimer using the Gear Crafting Bench with the following recipe: 1× Common Egg + 1× Harvest Tool + 500,000 Sheckles.
- After submitting the materials, the crafting process takes 25 minutes, rewarding you with three Reclaimers once complete.
- This tool was also featured in several limited-time events in the past:
- 🌻 Summer Harvest Event – 50% drop chance after reaching 5,000+ points.
- 🍳 Cooking Event – could be earned by feeding the Rat Connoisseur or Chris P.
- 🌱 Beanstalk Event – found inside green orbs during the climb.
- It can also appear as a Daily Quest reward in the current version.
Reclaimer Trivia
- Earlier versions crafted only one Reclaimer and took 45 minutes; this was later updated to three per craft with a shorter timer.
- A red-tinted icon briefly appears when reclaiming a crop.
- A seed duplication glitch involving Squirrels existed at launch but was patched.
- Shares the same on-screen prompt as the Shovel.
