The Pet Mutation Shard Glimmering is a divine-tier gear item introduced during the Fairy Event, marking the ninth pet shard released in the game. It allows players to apply the Glimmering Mutation to their pets.
Appearance
This shard shares the familiar crystal shape of other pet shards but stands out with a vivid neon-pink glow. When used on a pet, it causes the creature to emit a radiant shine, similar to the Shocked mutation’s visual effect. The glow continuously sparkles, giving the pet a magical, fairy-like aura.
Usage
- When used, the shard applies the Glimmering Mutation to a selected pet. This grants the pet a chance—roughly every 25 minutes—to spread its fairy glow, causing a nearby fruit to gain the Glimmering mutation.
- If the targeted pet already has a mutation, the game will display a confirmation prompt, asking whether to replace the existing mutation with Glimmering. Selecting “Confirm” will overwrite the previous one.
How to Obtain
- Players can obtain the Glimmering Pet Mutation Shard in two main ways:
- From the Wishing Well, with specific drop chances tied to the event.
- Through the Fairy Fares Merchant, who sells the shard for 35,000 Fairy Coins or 289 Robux, unlocked after catching 800 fairies during the event.
