Overview
The Summer Harvest Event was a limited-time seasonal event added in Update 1.11.0 of Grow a Garden. This event celebrated the summer season by refreshing the Seed Shop with new sun-inspired crops and introducing a fun Harvest Point system. Players could grow and submit special summer plants every hour to earn points and unlock exclusive rewards. Many returning items from past events also made a comeback through this system, including rare seeds, gear, and event eggs.

Every hour, players were invited to take part in a Harvest Session, where they could submit Summer Crops to earn Harvest Points. The session lasted for 10 minutes, and only players who submitted crops during that time received rewards.
The more points a player collected, the better their prize tier. Gold and Rainbow mutated crops gave bonus points, adding 2 and 3 extra points per submission.
Players could track their progress and aim for higher rarities by continuously contributing quality crops during each session.

🧠 Strategies
A simple yet effective strategy during the Summer Harvest Event is to hoard fast-growing crops, such as Tomatoes. Although they give fewer points than premium crops like Sugar Apples, they grow very quickly and can be gathered in bulk.
Players can improve efficiency by combining this method with Pack Bees, which allow fruits to be stored ahead of time before submission. Planting large clusters of the same crop makes harvesting much faster when the event begins.
It is also important to submit at least one fruit as soon as the event starts. Points only begin counting after the first fruit is placed into the basket. If another player completes their contributions before you participate, you will not earn points for their submissions.
