Overview

The Cooking Event was introduced in Update 1.17.0, running from August 2, 2025, to August 16, 2025. This event added a fun new gameplay feature where players could cook using their harvested crops to earn exclusive rewards. After the event ended, cooking became a permanent feature through the Cooking Kit, and trading was also introduced with this update.

Event Mechanics

Players could experiment with different crops in the Cooking Pot to create meals for Chris P., the event’s main NPC. He accepts foods made from various plants, and the heavier the plant, the longer the cook time, but also the better the rewards. The more points your dish earns, the higher its reward tier. When a player gives Chris P. his current craving, the food is automatically upgraded one tier (for example, a Divine Ice Cream becomes Prismatic Ice Cream). The system encouraged creativity, recipe experimentation, and timing to maximize points and reward quality.
