Bizzy Bee Event – Grow a Garden Wiki
Your complete guide to the Bizzy Bee Event in Grow a Garden.

Bizzy Bee Event
Overview
The Bizzy Bee Event was a limited-time celebration where players helped the Queen Bee and her helpers collect honey, craft unique bee-themed items, and take part in hourly swarm events. Most of the activities took place around the Honey Merchant Shop, where players could exchange honey for special event rewards.
Event Mechanics
Honey System
Players earned Honey by delivering Pollinated Plants to the Honey Combpressor, a machine run by Onett. Each delivery required at least 10 kg of plants, and once processed for 30 seconds, rewarded the player with 10 Honey. Honey was used as the main event currency, traded directly with the Queen Bee, who refreshed her offers every 30 minutes.
Bee Swarm Events
Every hour, the Queen Bee sent out bee swarms for a short 10-minute event. During this time, bees flew across random plants to pollinate them every 30 seconds, helping players collect more pollinated crops for honey making.
Working Bee Swarm
A rare version of the event could occur — the Working Bee Swarm — with about a 1 in 3 chance to appear instead of the normal swarm. These bees wore tiny builder hats and appeared in multiple colors, sending three bees per cycle to pollinate faster. When active, all Bizzy Bear crafting became 10× faster, making it a key time to craft items efficiently.
Bizzy Bear Crafting
Instead of completing specific fetch quests like in earlier updates, this event introduced Bizzy Bear Crafting, where players could choose what they wanted to make. Each recipe needed certain ingredients — for example, a Flower Seed Pack and 10 Honey could create a Crafter’s Seed Pack. After starting a recipe, players simply waited for the timer to finish before collecting their new item. This replaced the old quest system, giving players more freedom to progress at their own pace while staying involved in the honey theme.
Event Items
The Bizzy Bee Event introduced a wide range of exclusive seeds, items, and cosmetics.
Trivia
- After the event ended, one of its main mechanics called the Honey Combpressor was carried over to the Summer Harvest Event.
- The bees in this event share a strong resemblance with the ones from Minecraft, but they appear in multiple colors instead of only yellow.
- Pollinated fruits have a glowing texture similar to the Gold mutation with extra particle effects added.
- The Royal Jelly item was originally planned for the event and was inspired by Bee Swarm Simulator, but it was later replaced with the Honey Sprinkler.
- The NPC who operates the Honey Combpressor is Onett, the creator of Bee Swarm Simulator. His dialogue includes fun references to his own game.
- The Bizzy Bee Event had a similar system to the Lunar Glow Event, including a shop that refreshed every 30 minutes and temporary mutations that appeared during hourly cycles.
- This was the fourth event added to Grow a Garden and one of the few that received new content after its release.
- It was also the second event to continue with a Part 2 update, following the Night Event.
- Some players dressed up as Onett for fun and pretended to steal pollinated fruits during swarm events.
- A bug occurred when players joined the game while a swarm was already active, causing the normal background music to play instead of the swarm music.
- The Working Bee Swarm Event icon was later updated to show a yellow bee with a hammer, and pollinated fruits from these bees now glow light blue instead of yellow.
- Repeated use of the Honey Combpressor in a single session could cause the honey and pollen inside to appear slightly out of place.
- The event name Bizzy Bee is likely a reference to the Buzzy Bees update in Minecraft.
- This event added the largest number of new crops of any event in the game.
