Overview

The Mushroom is a divine, single-harvest stalky crop, introduced during the Angry Plant Update. Known for its unique design and rare availability, it’s one of the most visually distinctive crops in the game, attracting collectors for its variety of colors and its divine-tier value.

Appearance

The Mushroom crop features a sturdy central stalk topped with a blocky, dome-shaped cap covered in spots.

Each Mushroom can vary slightly in both height and width, giving each plant a unique shape.

They appear in several color combinations, with differences in cap, stalk, and spot shades — though these color variants do not impact its rarity or value.

How to Obtain

Players can get the Mushroom seed through several methods in Grow a Garden:
  • 0.83% chance (1 in 120) to appear in the Seed Shop, available for 150,000 Sheckles or 249 Robux.
  • Rewarded through Lucky Harvests.
  • Can be dropped by a Snail upon harvest.
  • Very rarely dug up by a Dog, Golden Lab, or Shiba Inu.
  • 36% chance to be found inside a Silver Divine Seed Pack.
  • Can also be collected during Seed Rain events.

Mushroom Trivia & Fun Facts

  • The Mushroom’s color variations do not affect its sell value — all colors are equally common.
  • When in stock, it often appears with 16 or more seeds, balancing its single-harvest nature and making it the most common Divine seed in the game.
  • It holds the seventh-highest base price among all crops, ranking below Bendboo, Parasol Flower, Sunflower, Bone Blossom, Crimson Thorn, and Golden Egg.
  • Upon release, the Mushroom could not receive the Shocked Mutation, which was corrected in a later update.
  • Both Mushroom and Bamboo are the only single-harvest crops whose minimum value is lower than their seed price.
  • The spots on the seed resemble the letter “S”, a fun visual quirk noticed by players.
  • The Mushroom was the first spotted seed introduced in the game — breaking the trend of solid or gradient-colored seeds.
  • It was planned as the first mushroom-type crop, followed by the Mega Mushroom and Merica Mushroom in later updates.
