Overview

The Elder Strawberry is a multi-harvest Prismatic crop introduced during the second part of the Zen Event, also known as the Corrupted Event. It is classified as both a Berry and Fruit-type crop, meaning it responds to growth-boosting tools such as the Berry Blusher Sprinkler and other items that target those crop types.

Appearance

The Elder Strawberry closely resembles a real-life strawberry but features a distinct red-to-dark-pink gradient from top to bottom, decorated with white seed-like dots across its surface. The top of the fruit has green leaves angled diagonally upward, each with a flat edge.

The seed itself carries a reddish-pink gradient, somewhat similar in appearance to a Mushroom seed.

The plant structure mirrors that of a regular Strawberry plant, though it is taller, with a thicker stem and sometimes multiple layers of leaves stacked above one another. Each leaf can produce one strawberry, with the leaves sharing a similar design to the fruit’s foliage.

How to Obtain

Players can get the Elder Strawberry seed through several methods in Grow a Garden:
  • Has a 0.25% (1/405) chance to appear in the Seed Shop, where it can be purchased for 70,000,000 or 957 Robux.
  • Can be acquired through Lucky Harvests.
  • May be stolen by a Red Fox.
  • Occasionally yielded by Snails during harvest.
  • Rarely dug up by pets such as the Dog, Golden Lab, or Shiba Inu.
  • Found in the Silver Prismatic Seed Pack.
  • Can also be collected during Seed Rain events.

Elder Strawberry Trivia & Fun Facts

  • Upon its release, a bug caused players who purchased the seed with Robux to not receive it. As a temporary fix, developers increased its price to 999,999,999 until the issue was resolved.
  • The Elder Strawberry initially lacked a shovel warning message, even though it was a prismatic crop.
  • The fruit glows briefly when a player touches it while it’s still attached to the plant — a feature shared only with Moonglow and Gleamroot.
  • The seed image originally displayed small dots, but the in-game purchased version does not include them.
