Overview
Bamboo is a legendary, single-harvest crop belonging to the Stalky plant type in Grow a Garden. It’s available through the Seed Shop, making it one of the easier legendary crops for players to obtain and cultivate.
Appearance
The Bamboo seed has a solid bright green color, easily recognizable among other legendary seeds.
Once grown, the Bamboo produce becomes a tall, square-shaped, and slender plant, divided into distinct node segments with a few small green leaves sprouting along its body.
How to Obtain
Players can get the Bamboo seed through several methods in Grow a Garden:
- 20% chance to appear in the Seed Shop, purchasable for 4,000 Sheckles or 99 Robux.
- Lucky Harvest drops.
- Snails may yield a Bamboo seed upon harvest.
- Occasionally dug up by pets such as Dog, Golden Lab, or Shiba Inu.
- Collectible during Seed Rain events.

- It was the first Bamboo-type crop ever introduced to the game.
- Players can climb on Bamboo due to its invisible truss, making it useful for reaching tall plants — though overgrown Bamboo cannot be climbed as it covers the truss.
- There’s a small mutation glitch where the invisible truss may become visible when the Bamboo mutates.
- A bug currently causes favorited Shocked Bamboo to appear unshocked until unfavorited.
- In the Zen Event area, Bamboo models do not include the invisible truss.
